Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a 2010 comedy film directed by Edgar Wright, based on the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley. The film is about Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera), a young Canadian musician, meeting the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), an American delivery girl. In order to win Ramona, Scott learns that he must defeat Ramona's "seven evil exes", who are coming to kill him.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World was planned as a film after the first volume of the comic was released. Wright became attached to the project and filming began in March 2009 in Toronto. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World premiered after a panel discussion at the San Diego Comic-Con International on July 22, 2010.

Absurd, utterly & unequivocally D.O.P.E. Casting was impeccable as was; the acting, soundtrack & overall content & presentation. As a Gamer/ Nerd/ "Lover of Comedy, Film & Obscure Music" this was an absolute delight. T'was Mind-Blowing to say the least...

To me, if you read the books that the movie is based on, you'll watch it over and over again just to see what got fit in and what didn't. I think it could have gotten a little more cred than it should have.

Eh, this movie was okay. Though this seems like exactly the kind of movie I'd love, I found that it was just too much; it tried way too hard. Like, most of the scenes individually were hilarious, but together, ridiculousness became the norm (not funny).

This was the best movie I ever saw. The jokes are hilarious, the fight scenes are epic, and the edgy editing and references to old video games and anime really set it apart from other movies.
