The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (also known as The Misadventures of Flapjack or simply Flapjack) is an American animated television series produced for Cartoon Network that premiered on June 5, 2008 and ended on August 31, 2010. The show was created by cartoonist Thurop Van Orman who has worked as a writer and storyboard artist on The Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Camp Lazlo. Flapjack was cancelled shortly after creative director JG Quintel and storyboard artist Pendleton Ward left to work on their own shows, Adventure Time and Regular Show.
On April 20, 2012, this series returned to Cartoon Network to show re-runs on the revived block, "Cartoon Planet".
The series revolves around Flapjack and Captain K'nuckles.
